If you’ve been following me for a while, you might remember that a few months ago I detoxed off all social networking sites (aside from Tumblr of course) because I felt that the effect it was having on me was unhealthy. I got about 600 messages from people that wanted to join and the response was extremely positive. I’ve recently realized that ever since I’ve been using them again, my productivity level and overall devotion turned back to unhealthy. So here I am, again, proposing another one week (minimum) detox to see if the change really does make us feel better. All you need to do is deactivate or stop using all other platforms aside from Tumblr, including mobile applications and all notifications. I’d love to have a lot of you do it with me and hear about the impact it had on your overall health. Let this be your week of societally-inflicted freedom where you don’t have to care about what’s going on in everyone else’s life every second of the day.
